A quick catch up...

Hi there,
Just popping in for a quick catch up!

2013 has been pretty busy already and I can't believe that it's nearly April already!
I started a new job role in at the beginning of the year to fit into the school times as Jack started school in January... scary times, but he has settled in well.

I have still been scrapping! In January I created this layout for Scrapology as their guest designer...

I'm still designing for the scrapbook magazine. I've had layouts in the last few Issues and here is a sneak peak of what will be coming up in the next issue (72)...

My latest favorite toy is my new Canon Selphy Printer. They are fantastic for printing various sized pictures at home...

Papermaze December Blog Hop

Welcome to my blog, my name is Anna and if you have arrived here from the Papermaze blog hop, then this is your last stop before going back to Papermaze's blog again. You should have arrived to me from Lou's blog here. If you haven't arrived here from the blog hop, then why not join in? It all starts here: http://scrappaperscissors.blogspot.co.uk

I have a layout to show you today which I hope will give you some Christmas inspiration.
I created this layout using mostly the contents of the December kit and a few extra letter stickers. This is a different sort of layout for me, using 9 pictures. But I really wanted to create a layout documenting 'Jack's Xmas' for his album.

If you have been following the blog hop then you will already know that by leaving a comment on this blog post you will be entered into a drawing to win a Papermaze December Kit!

Although to be entered you do need to make sure that you have left a comment at each of the blog hop stops. The blog hop starts here.

The Papermaze kits are available to buy each month for £10.00
Below is a photograph of the December kit (this is what you could win :) )

In the latest issue of the scrapbook magazine (68) you can find my Carta Bella article. I was sent the 'Paris Girl' and the 'Beautiful Moments' collection packs to work with and I needed to create 3 layouts, here they are...

A Proud Moment...

As some of you may know I joined the design team for the scrapbook magazine in March this year. The first feature that you appear in is the 'introducing..' pages. For this you chose a few of your favorite layouts to appear in the article.
Anyway, I went out shopping with my Mum one day and we went into WHSmiths. I was so happy to see one of my layouts on the front cover! So we made use of our phone cameras and took a few pictures! Several passes by wondered what we were doing, but my Mum (also a scrapper) took great pride in telling people!
So when it came to my first commission for issue 66 of the scrapbook magazine I knew exactly which photos I wanted to use. So I based this layout on my 'proud moment'.
I had recently brought some 'SMASH tabs', which I knew I wanted to try out on a layout. It was a great way to add extra photos and journalling to the page.

You can read more about this layout in the current issue of The Scrapbook Magazine (issue 66) in the Activity Pack section.
I also have another layout in the current issue, which I shall share with you here soon!

Thanks for reading x

Sarah's Cards March Guest DT

I was absolutely thrilled to be asked to join the Sarah's Cards Design Team. I got to work with their March kit and it was a pleasure to work with - their kits are really lovely!
You can see or buy the full kit contents here
Here are the 3 layouts (and a frame too!) that I created with the kit...

I still had lots of scraps left after I'd finished the 3 layouts, I especially had a lot of stickers left over. So I decided to punch some circles out of my scrap bits of patterned paper and added some of the stickers.

Thanks so much for having me Sarah's Cards!

Thank you for looking x Anna x
