Helllo all,
Today I have a couple of pages to show that I have been working on over the last few days.
This first one was using the kit from Saturdays crop. I used most of the bits included in the kit, but decided to do it differently to how it was suppose to be, just so it fitted my style and the pictures more. If you want to see the original kit page, it is on the papermaze facebook page here. This was what I came up with...

Last night I went to one of the Papermaze workshops. This was the page that we created...I again did it slightly differently but not by much...just adding a few extra stickers and using 2 pictures instead of 4.

This morning this was left on my doorstep my the postman...its beautiful..I can't wait to use it..

~ Crop Day ~

Just popping in to show the results from yesterdays crop day at Otley. I made two pages yesterday and started to play around with a 3rd using Fancy Pants girl Friday papers, which Im hoping to carry on with later today! But anyway here are my two completed layouts...
Both of the pages I made yesterday are for Jack's album. The first one features a picture of him taken at our circus day we had at work last month. It uses the new October afternoon fly a kite papers and stickers. I was soooo pleased when they came in to Papermaze, I had seen them all over the web for the last few months and loved them!

I have uses a few of the stickers from the die cut stickers sheet and made a windmill...

This was the second layout using one of the newest ranges of My Minds Eye. I still have one of the ranges that I have yet to use, they are all such lovely papers and really good quaility. I used the whale of a punch and medium retro flower punch and a pin for this...
and here is the rest of the page...

Thanks for looking

What have I been doing?

Well...in terms of non scrappyness (if thats a word?) tonight we have been to a disco party - Jack always loves them - he has so much fun dancing around with balloons and looking at all of the lights! Here are a few pictures from this evening...

Never can we get a perfect family picture! I wish Jack would smile at the camera every now and then...

Tomorrow we are going to watch Peppa Pig live in Norwich..should be interesting! Im sure Jack will love it! Hopfully some pictures of our day to follow tomorrow!

And in terms of scrapping..I have made a couple of pages this week. Both using new My little Shoebox papers. I am only showing you a peak of each one as I am entering them into a competition. Will show the full layouts when I can! I also need to make a card and a project for this as well so thats my next challenge.
Next weekend it is the Otley crop day, so some full page layouts to follow after...I feel like all I have shown is sneaks for ages!

Anyway here they are...

Right now Im going to go to bed, and fall asleep watching Britians got Tallent from earlier!
Enjoy the rest of your weekends!

~A Colour Challenge~

While recently looking at Wendy's blog, I read a post about a colour challenge that she was doing for the Papermaze blog. She posted a few colour combinations and asked for help in creating some layouts. I decided that I would have a go at one or two.
This was the first one that I chose:

...and here is a sneak at the page that I made with these colours in mind - I can't show the whole page as they are all due to go up on the papermaze blog in a couple of weeks. It was a good challenge just sticking to those colours - definatley a great idea for inspiration! I am hoping to have another go at one of the combinations as well!

Thats all for now. Anna x

~ An Easter Post ~

Well I hope everyone had a great Easter, I really enjoyed this weekend, spending lots of time with family and friends. Today I am going to share with you a few photos from my Easter weekend. I have not done any scrapping over the weekend...but I am very keen to scrap some of the ones that I'm showing you today and with an order from Papermaze due tomorrow..I'm sure it won't be long before I will have done so!
Firstly Jack's collection of Easter gifts, which seemed to keep growing as the weekend went on..(but now is fastly decreasing!) this is most of them...

On Easter Sunday morning I did a small egg hunt for him, which I wasn't sure he would understand, but he soon got the hang of it!
Later that day, we took Jack and his cousin Brandon to Jimmy's farm for the afternoon. I managed to get lots of great picture that I can't wait to scrap with! Here are my favourites...

Thats all for now! X

Chipboard Album Update...

So a few posts ago I mentioned that a friend had asked me to make a little album of her birthday celebrations a few weeks ago. Well I took the oppertunity to work on it on Thursday when I had a scrapboking day with some friends and family. In the morning we went to capture the magic, I brought some lovely new things including some new Bo Bunny papers. In the afternoon we came back to my Mum's house for lunch and an afternoon of scrapping.
So this was what I spent the afternoon making...
I am pleased with it, although I did take the oppertunity to use up some of my older resources, so it isn't really the current style that I would normally do. My favourite page is definatly the front cover!
I decorated the book rings with lots of bits of ribbon, it has 3 double sided pages in it..I hope it is just what she wanted. I will be giving it to her next week!

Thanks for looking X
