~Scrapping Weekend~

So, two weekends ago I went to a scrapbooking retreat in Norfolk.
I'm a bit late in posting but, today I'd like to show you a few pics from our weekend..

I created some kits for the weekend, which were included in the goody bags. Firstly I created a tag kit, this was what all of the ladies came up with.. mine is the one in the middle in the middle row..

..all very pretty I'm sure you agree, next up a layout that I created as well...here are the results.. it's amazing how you can take one kit and manage to come up with several different versions..it's brilliant..

My original layout isn't in this picture, but I will post it soon along with the other layouts that I created during this weekend..
That's all for now

Its Been too long..

..Since my last post..and what a hectic couple of weeks it has been..this being the main cause of the hecticness...

Yep, I've been too and from the hospital to visit my partner Lee for the last week. But hes home now and lots better! He went in with a piece of metal in his eye, which happened at his work, where he is a mechanic. So an operation and lots of eye drops later, hes home and were back to normal! This incident also happened while I was a the Create and Co crop, but I still managed to get two layouts done before I needed to dash off to the hospital..and here they are..

The first using Basic Grey Oliver papers and stickers and a few of the flowers, brads and ribbon that came with the create and co crop kit..they seemed to go well with the layout so I made a different use for them..
I also did some sewing, which I haven't done on a layout for ages!

The second using the Cosmo Cricket Togetherness range, which I LOVE! A quick simple page to record Lee's surprise birthday party in September. I'm not 100% sure on this layout, but I was in a bit of a state whilst finishing it off as I had just received the call about Lee!

Also over on the blog of the Big Event, today we have revealed our kit for the day, you can see all of the details here. We still have a few spaces left so if your in the Suffolk area of the UK we would love to see you there!
A couple of weekends ago, I also went for a scrapping weekend away, so I have lots to share from that, including the layouts I created and my kits that I created for the weekend..so will be catching up on that over the next couple of days!

Later today I am off on another Scrapbooking Weekend away..over the last week I have been busy preparing 34 kits to take with me. 24 of these are kits are all the same and will be included in the goody bags. The other 10 are all different and I have made up extra ones to sell myself...
One of the pages that I created for this, was this one..

Using the very lovely Cosmo Cricket Pixielicious collection. The pictures are from one of Jacks friends 'Pants' themed partys last week! Lots of fun! I really enjoyed creating this page, lots of 3-D foam pads and stickers.
Right, I'm off to finnish packing! Be back next week with lots more to share. Have a great weekend whatever your doing!

Hi and welcome back to Doily day for the last time today! I hope you have enjoyed it, i certainly enjoyed creating all of the projects. Here is my final layout for you and it's also my favourite one of the day...

I scraplifted the idea of the centre butterfly circles from here, which also features on my title for the blog. A fab page, I think you will agree!

I used a plain white doily along with the Echo Park range, Life is Good.
Along with some of the stickers from the co-ordinating sticker sheet.

The flower button I brought from a local craft shop, very cute.

Doily Day ~ Part 4

Hello again and welcome back to Doily Day! I hope you are finding these posts helpful and interesting!

Another frame for you now..

This frame was again from The Range, I also decorated one of the sections and left the others for pictures. This frame was also for a gift, but for a baby shower. I took out the two pictures of Jack as a baby and left them blank so that she could add her own pictures of her baby. She didn't know what she was having as I made the frame versatile.

I just used some of my scraps to decorate and paired with a doily for the background.
Thanks for looking! Don't forget the giveaway..detailed on Part 1!

Be back soon with Part 5!

Doily Day ~ Part 3

Part 3 is here and another page to show you, featuring a very old picture of me. Using a large pink doily from Paperchase and a little bit of the Ech Park range, Life is good! The scalloped background paper I have had for a while now, and hadn't used. I think its Making Memories.

Thanks for stopping by again, will be back soon with Part 4!

Don't forget the giveaway, look at Part 1 for more details.

Doily Day ~ Part 2

Part two and I have a frame to show you, can I just appologise about the quaility of the pictures, this was made as a present and I really struggled to get good pictures of it before I had to give it away! But my Godmother Debbie was pleased to recieve it for her 5oth birthday last week :)

I used some small doilys from Papermaze on this one and papers from MME. I brought the frame from a shop called the Range for about £6.99. I only decorated the largest space and decided to add photos to the smaller sections.

Don't forget about the competition, check out the post below for more details.

See you soon with part 3! Anna x
